Puri in Orissa is considered to be a pious place among all the religious places in India. Many people around the country and world throng the place to get the holy blessing from the gods and goddess that reside there. The place is situated in the eastern coastline of the country, India and in the state of Orissa. It is the main pilgrimage venue for the Hindus and hosts many religious monuments and temples. There are a copious numbers of place that you can look to visit when you are in Puri. Apart from the beautiful temples the place also has beautiful lakes and water bodies, Chilka being one such lake which is thronged by many.

| There are a number of important Orissa attractions. Chilka is one of the major places of interest at Orissa. It is the biggest salt water lake of India. Different kinds of birds come to this lake during winter time. Bhitarakanika is another popular tourist attraction of Orissa. This place houses a wide range of animal life. The Udayagiri Caves are located at different heights of the Udayagiri Hills. There are 18 Udayagiri caves. The beautiful natural surroundings of Lake Chilka in Orissa make this place one of the most commonly visited tourist places of Orissa. |

| Bhubaneswar is one of the popular and favorite tourist spots of Orissa. It is rich in culture and art. The city is situated in the plains of east coast or Orissa and to the south western part of Mahanadi river. It has subdivisions of townships and different housings. |
