If you are looking to take the server out of the farm and not put it elsewhere, why do you want to keep PS4 installed on it? I don't understand the rationale for doing that. Removing it is still the best method for taking the server out of the farm. I have deleted servers via the CMC only if the server was not retired or moved properly.
